Yes. You get a full 30-day trial on the Starter plan - no credit card required. After 30 days, your school reverts to the Free plan unless you select a paid plan. Your data is always retained - nothing is deleted.
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your management dashboard. If you outgrow your plan limits, our overage system lets you keep going without disruption - you are never locked out.
We accept FPX online banking and credit card payments for your Skolmind subscription. For parent fee collection at your kindergarten, you bring your own payment gateway - we support Billplz, iPay88, Stripe, and more. You keep 100% of parent payments.
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We comply with applicable data protection regulations. Child photos use signed URLs that expire automatically. Gallery opt-out is enforced at the database level. Attendance records are stored in an immutable, insert-only database table.
The Skolmind web portal works on any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile. Parent and teacher mobile apps for iOS and Android are coming soon - join the waitlist to be notified at launch.
When a child is not marked present by the grace period, Skolmind sends a push notification and SMS to the parent (Level 1). If no response, it escalates to emergency contacts and management (Level 2). If still unresolved, it becomes a Level 3 alert requiring management resolution. Alerts are suppressed on holidays and for pre-approved leave.
Yes. Each kindergarten gets its own isolated instance with its own subdomain. Each school has separate data, staff, and settings. Parents with children across multiple schools see all their children in a single app dashboard with one login.
We provide guided onboarding to help you import your student records, staff accounts, and class setup. For schools on the Pro plan, our support team assists with data migration directly.
Every child pickup is recorded with the authorised person's identity and timestamp. If someone not on the authorised list attempts pickup, the system flags it immediately. These records are immutable and cannot be edited or deleted.
No. The parent app is completely free. The mobile apps for iOS and Android are coming soon - parents can access the web portal on any device today and will be notified when the apps launch.
